Do you Remember?
Do You Remember back when R&B was about music with a beat, but that also explained a deep feeling, be it love, or love lost? I miss those days.
Do You Remember back when singing about the size of the wheels on your car was relegated to the worst rappers alive, and serious R&B artists would never touch those subjects? Do you remember when you could call someone an R&B or Hip Hop artist without feeling dirty?
Do you remember the days where if someone did mention the size of their wheels, it was only in passing because 28 does sort of rhyme with recreate, and not as part of a chorus or hook.
Do you remember when Chris Brown had some artistic merit? Me neither.
